Ernest Murtazin a magistrate for Court District No.9, in the Sovetsky district of Kazan, has ruled that the sentence be quashed in the case of local blogger Yury Egorov. Egorov had previously been given a six-month suspended sentence in a criminal case of libel against Rashit Vagizov, former Human Rights Ombudsman in Tatarstan.
